NEW! It's all about the music...and the pain. Misery is obsessed with guitarist Jackson Ray. It destroyed his childhood, destroyed his teenage years, and left him with serious depression. It destroyed his closest friendship and almost destroyed his band, Angels of the Sword. Jax's inner strength was the only thing holding his life together. Now, even that is in peril as Misery upgrades its weaponry with addiction, betrayal, and the siren call of success.
This comic will update in full scenes, anywhere from 8 to 15 or more pages at a time, rather than a page at a time, as my other comics have, so it will not have a set schedule. Sci-Fi, Espionage and adventure... Genjiro Nakadai thinks he's found the perfect job, when he volunteers for the Special Forces, an elite division of the Greater Union Army of Exedra. The recruiter's promise of adventure and high pay sours, when Genjiro finds out what the job really is. By then, it's too late to back out. As he falls deeper into intrigue and danger, the likelihood of getting his own life back dwindles. Will he escape from the chains of the GUA, or will he give up his life, his freedom and his identity?

The Elves of Emerald Wood is a collection of short stories in comics format, which will be updated, sporadically. Each comic story will be at least four pages long, with many comprising of eight pages or more, and each episode will be updated in its entirety. All the stories will feature the same basic cast of characters, the elves of Emerald Wood and the humans of Evenstar Valley, and all are smaller parts of a much larger story.

Friendship, flying and war... Tomiji Yoshida yearns to fly. He gets the opportunity of a lifetime when his father sends him to America to learn some discipline from a military uncle, and he makes friends with teenage pilot, Randall Parker. But before he earns his pilot's license, Tomiji's rebellious nature instead earns him a one-way ticket back to Japan. With his home country now on the brink of war, how can he save his dream of flight as well as his friendship with Randall? (Currently on hiatus.)

Humor, Japanese-American style... The Satos have settled comfortably into their empty nest, ready to enjoy their newly found private time and full refrigerator. But they didn't count on their grown son, Kei, getting fired from his job and moving back home! The empty nest is suddenly not so empty any more...and the refrigerator may never be full, again! "Tadaima" means "I'm home," in Japanese.

Surreal, mysterious, and often spooky..."Dreams" is the comic where I empty the weirdness of my mind into PhotoShop and see what happens. These images are not truly dreams, in the usual sense of the word; they're more like visions and strange thoughts, which I have plenty of. I may transcribe some actual dreams, at some point, and those will span several pages each, but for now, I'm just getting used to the idea of working completely within PhotoShop 4, without drawing the images on paper, first (yes, I draw with a mouse, and not a tablet!). "Spinning" has some sketchy pencil work, though, as I felt the image needed that to give it weight and texture. These pages will be updated sporadically, as I find the time to do them. May 5th is not only Cinco de Mayo; it's also National Cartoonists Day and Web Comics Awareness Day! These are special color strips I did for the first and second annual WCA celebrations; they star Genjiro (from ShadowFall) and...me!! They're also done in a humorous style.
