The recruiter's promise of adventure and high pay sours, when Genjiro finds out what the job really is. By then, it's too late to back out. As he falls deeper into intrigue and danger, the likelihood of getting his own life back dwindles. Updated every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Kai's Chatter Box News for 14 March, 2001 I am still a nitwit!! Sheesh!!! I'm catching myself at all kinds of little dinky mistakes, this week. This dumb newsbox had Friday's date on it, when it should have had Monday's. Sigh...just shoot me, now... At least I haven't messed up any more important emails. Which brings me to my mini-rant for the day: people who do not reply to emails. It really really irks me when I send an email to someone, often in reply to a message from them, and get no response whatsoever. This is particularly irritating if I have asked the person a question. Now, I could understand if maybe once in a while the email doesn't go through, but with some folks, this non-answering business is an ongoing thing. It really gets on my nerves, too...not that it's all that hard to get on my nerves, in the first place. My nerves are so short you couldn't even use them for dental floss. I need a vacation, big time... (^-^) Kaichi
