SF/espionage and adventure... Genjiro Nakadai thinks he's found the perfect job, when he volunteers for the Special Forces, an elite division of the Greater Union Army of Exedra. The recruiter's promise of adventure and high pay sours, when Genjiro finds out what the job really is. By then, it's too late to back out. As he falls deeper into intrigue and danger, the likelihood of getting his own life back dwindles. Updated every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Kai's Chatter Box News for 11 April, 2001 Not Much News For Today Well, let's see...still no CD-RW drive. I'm almost at the point of giving up on it and trying to find one elsewhere, even though I had a hard enough time finding this one. This is just one of the many many problems of having no money, and being unable to buy a newer computer. Every few months, it becomes impossible to replace yet another part of this old Mac. Isn't there any place where a guy can buy new, unused components for a six year old computer, and at a reasonable price?!? Sigh... Speaking of money, I suppose everyone has noticed the little PayPal donate button, by now. I am very embarrassed to have to do this, but at least a few people have told me they wouldn't be offended by it. I hope no one is offended. If anyone would like to donate a dollar or two to the art supply fund, though, I would be eternally grateful. It's getting more and more difficult for me, just to be able to buy paper and other supplies. I gave one of my Bristol pads to Carson Fire, so now I'm low on my own paper. Good thing I don't do ShadowFall daily, or I'd have to stop, pretty soon. I've had to give up too many other things to have to give this up, too. All of this money trouble is really bugging me. I hate not being able to pay for basic things. I hate having overdue bills. I hate being stuck, like this. It's enormously frustrating. There is just no work out here, apparently. Sometimes it feels like I'm a character in The Grapes of Wrath. I can't go forward, yet I can't go back, either. I'm stuck in a kind of money limbo, and as I'm a control freak, it's driving me crazy. I think maybe tonight would be a good candidate for Diphenhydramine night... (^-^) Kaichi
