We're Popular!! Wheee!
Wow! We're already up to number 8 on the Planet Doom Top 100 Sci-Fi sites list!! Thanks to everyone who has voted for ShadowFall!! It feels great to break the top 10!! On this same note, SF is currently number 5 on the Planet Cartoonist Top 100 Comic Books list, with Wings of Cranes and Eagles still holding at number 3. Wings held the number one spot on that list for a solid year, at which time I stopped asking for votes on it. But SF is still in the running, so if you'd like to cast your vote for it at PC, click on the link, above, or on the Planet Cartoonist icon at the bottom of this page. (Or click on any of the other voting links, down there, except for Big Panda. The BP ranking system has been stuck for months, now, so there's no point in wasting a vote, there.) It looks like my web stats are going to be down for a while. I'm kind of upset about this, as I like to check them often, to see how readership is doing. I installed an eXTreme Tracker on the ShadowFall main page, but it lags behind in its count, and also counts only a fraction of the visits, compared to the stats I get directly from the server. It's a little depressing to look at the Tracker stats, after being used to seeing much much higher numbers on my real stats. I hope the Webalizer stats are fixed, soon, as I'm a stats junkie! Need...stats...fix...!!!
And only two more days until my CD-RW drive (supposedly) ships!!! That means I should have it by next Friday!!! I can't wait!!! My poor old Mac is about ready to give up the ghost, and really really needs to have its load lightened. Please keep your fingers crossed for me, that nothing else delays this shipment!!!
Well, gotta bail, now. I just ate some lentils for dinner, and... I think I'm gonna hurl. I hate lentils... Might as well be eating little chunks of wet cardboard. Blech!!! And I even dumped a bunch of salsa, mayonnaise and tortilla chips into them, which renders them almost edible. What a diet: rice, cheap ramen and lentils. Sigh...poverty sucks.
