SF/espionage and adventure... Genjiro Nakadai thinks he's found the perfect job, when he volunteers for the Special Forces, an elite division of the Greater Union Army of Exedra. The recruiter's promise of adventure and high pay sours, when Genjiro finds out what the job really is. By then, it's too late to back out. As he falls deeper into intrigue and danger, the likelihood of getting his own life back dwindles. Updated every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Kai's Chatter Box News for 23 April, 2001 Time Vanishes, Once Again Sigh...I'm convinced aliens must be abducting me on Friday night and then dumping me back into my bed on Sunday. My weekends always seem to disappear, and I have nothing to show for the missing time --except a bunch of weird dreams and strange feelings. This weekend, I had some of the creepiest dreams, ever, with baby dolls that came to life and changed into real children, sorcerers in muddy boots living in Nowheresville USA, flood waters rising up to my back door (I live in the Mojave desert!!), and talking Swiss cheeses. I swear I must be insane. On a saner front, the CD-RW drive did not ship, on Friday. Apparently, there is some trouble in getting the manufacturer (Yamaha) to ship the drives on their promised schedule. Macconnection.com have been very patient and polite with my constant inquiries, and I've also been assured that the drive will be charged at its new lower price! Banzai!! Being a squeaky wheel sometimes does pay off. That's going to be a fifty dollar savings for me, at a time when fifty bucks makes a huge difference. I've also just added a new site to the Asia Comix dropdown list: Lovarian Adventures by Gabriel Joseph Fua. It's a fantasy story featuring some very nice artwork. He's only got one up so far, but it looks good. Check it out! He'll be updating it twice per week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. I'll leave you, today, with a special little dittie I wrote: Shakespeare was a bald little man, a bald little man was he. It seems his hair couldn't quite decide Whe'er to be or not to be. The hair grew in on his upper lip, and the tip of his chinny-chin-chin, but methinks all the hair that grew in there kept the hair on his head pull'd in! Okay. Enough silliness. I'll go away, now...
