SF/espionage and adventure... Genjiro Nakadai thinks he's found the perfect job, when he volunteers for the Special Forces, an elite division of the Greater Union Army of Exedra. The recruiter's promise of adventure and high pay sours, when Genjiro finds out what the job really is. By then, it's too late to back out. As he falls deeper into intrigue and danger, the likelihood of getting his own life back dwindles. Updated every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Kai's Chatter Box

News for 25 April, 2001
Did You Catch It?

Monday's ShadowFall page was a part of a webcomics conspiracy! Yes! It's true!! A big big secret!! Did you get it? If not, I'll spoil it for you: as Monday was William Shakespeare's birthday, a lot of us webcomics creators decided to do a little tribute to the old Bald --er, I mean, Bard. We were supposed to make some reference to him in our comics for the day, whether a quote, a cameo, or whatever. I wanted to be subtle for mine. If you notice, there's a bust of Shakespeare sitting on General Fuchida's desk, in the first panel of page 19...

But...being the silly person that I am, I couldn't leave it at that. So in Monday's Chatterbox, you'll find my really silly poem about the Bard, along with a little portrait I drew of him. You can also see them on my official Shakespeare Project page, at www.kyokipress.com/ws2001.html, where there is also a link to the hub page for the other participating comics. You can also get to that page by clicking here: ws2001.keenspace.com.

This was the first joint webcomics project I've been involved in! I'll also be involved in the Webcomics Awareness Project, which will show up on participating sites on Saturday, 5 May, 2001. Looks like it will be a lot of fun! I'm actually going to attempt to crack my funny bone. Prepare to brace for a big OUCH!!

(^-^)
