Some Cool Stuff, This Week!
Waaaaay back in May of last year, I was asked by my good friend, Jim Alexander, of Algernon's Dilemma fame, to do a little flight choreography for his strip. Well, this is the week he'll be posting those strips! That's how far ahead he works! Heh...I can't stay even a week ahead, so of course, I'm envious of his months-long lead time. (~-^)
In return for the aerial choreography sketches I did for him, Jim sent me several originals of his strips, and I must say, they're truly impressive. They look great online, but the actual comics look even better! Swing by Algernon's Dilemma each day this week, and check out our little collaboration. His work is heavily influenced by Al Capp and some of the other great cartoonists of the past, and has a very distinctive flavor to it.
The actual flight sequences don't begin until Tuesday, but since I don't update on Tuesday, I'm doing it now. The sequences run, daily, through Saturday. I'll be plugging his site all week, so everyone will have a chance to check out the comics while they're fresh!
Looks like we're still hanging on to the number 9 spot on the Funny Papers top list, which is pretty darn good. But I know we can do even better than that! We were number 6, last month, so let's try for number 5, this month! We can do it! If you haven't voted, and would like to, it only takes two clicks and a few moments to do. You can vote once, every day, for ShadowFall and our affiliate site, Elf Life! Keep us both high on the list, in the new year! Vote at home, vote at work, vote at school, wherever you have the chance to vote, please do so! Help us stay visible on the list, and vote today! Genjiro hasn't cried all month, so let's keep him smiling!
Now I'm gonna go have some extra chunky peanut butter on some crackers. Mm-mmmm! Bye for now!
