SF/espionage and adventure... Genjiro Nakadai thinks he's found the perfect job, when he volunteers for the Special Forces, an elite division of the Greater Union Army of Exedra. The recruiter's promise of adventure and high pay sours, when Genjiro finds out what the job really is. By then, it's too late to back out. As he falls deeper into intrigue and danger, the likelihood of getting his own life back dwindles. Updated every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Kai's Chatter Box News for 14 January, 2002 Issue Six Begins Today! And a Plug for a New Sci-Fi Comic! Today marks the beginning of the end, for ShadowFall...the end of the first series, that is! Issue Six is the last in the initial series, which covers about 9 chapters of the prose novel, "Into the Abyss." This new issue will be about 44 pages long, when finished, and I hope you all enjoy it. Once it's completed, I'll let you, wonderful reader, in on a very big secret! I can hardly wait!!! \(^o^)/ The second thing I want to mention today is a new Sci-Fi comic I've just added to my links page. It's called Stars and Steel, and is written/colored by Matt Gleeson and drawn/inked by Dave Dye. They only have about 11 comics on the site, right now, but it looks like it will be a good story. Stop by and check it out! And drat of all drats, we've slipped back down to number 9 on the Funny Papers list! I smell something fishy, here, as many of you have told me you had voted, and the votes were not counted. I see it happening to a few other comics, as well, and I'm not sure what to do about it. I really appreciate your efforts to keep us in the top ten, even in the midst of all the super-popular gaming comics! ShadowFall seems to be the underdog of the mid-level comics. Heh!
