Whew!!! It's HOT HOT HOT!! And New RolePlaying Forum Opens!
(*,*)'' Boy, is it HOT out here, in the desert!! We hit 118 F (about 48 C) before noon, yesterday, and that was on the shady side of the house! I'm melllllllting!!! MELLLLLTING!!! I really really REALLY need out of this desert! This heat is going to be the end of me. It's been so hot, that I've had trouble getting my work done. I can't keep the Mac on for more than an hour or two, for fear of it overheating and blowing up. One of my monitors died from heat exhaustion, earlier, and I don't want that to happen, again. It's even hard to draw, as the room I live in is the hottest one in the house. It's almost all windows! I need a new home... (6.^)
Anyway, the better news is that I've got the basic info set up for the ShadowFall RPG in the Forum! This is a structured RP, much like the one used in Carson Fire's Alfheim forum, except that it's set in the ShadowFall universe. I've set up different worlds for play, as well as a forum just for posting character profiles, and another for help and discussion about play. Everyone is welcome to join in, though you do have to become a member to post. It's easy to register; we don't send out spam; your email and privacy are protected, and best of all, it's free!
Speaking of the forum, I've also added some nifty new features to it. You now have the option of using a personal avatar in your posts, and I can now pin topics within the forums to keep them at the top. The forum has had a complete makeover, since it was hosted on Keen, and it's better than ever! Come by and chat with us! Everyone is friendly and newbies are most welcome!
Last thing for today is just to report that I've had no complaints about the new font and border colors. I guess that means everyone is okay with it! Also, I've redone part of yesterday's comic, as I noticed while looking at it on the PC, that some of the panels are too dark. They're not that dark on the Mac monitor, so I just adjusted them a bit, so you can actually see the artwork. Sorry about that! It's hard to strike a good balance, considering how much difference there can be in Mac and PC monitor displays. I hope you guys will let me know if any of the art looks too dark or too light. It's an easy thing to fix, as I do those overall shades in Photoshop.
No more for today! Everyone please have a great weekend, and I'll see you on Monday!
