Sigh...Still Running Late!!
Sigh...Page nineteen is taking me longer than I expected it to. It has a great big building on it, very detailed, so I can't do it quickly without making it look like I did it, quickly. So...in lieu of that, I'm posting a drawing that will be part of a new wallpaper. This one will be a ninjutsu wallpaper, and features Chi throwing a shuriken. I'll post the actual wallpaper, later today, and it will be found on the store page. I'll come back and add a thumbnail of it to the Chatterbox, when it's actually there to be downloaded.
Btw, to my friend, Sherrie, if you're reading this: When I get the background on this drawing of Chi, it's yours. (^-^)
Once, again, I apologize for being late. I am really trying to keep the quality level high in this series, though, so I'd rather have to apologize for being late than to have to apologize for uploading crappy work. I'll do my best to have the next page available on Friday. I'll try to devote as much time to it, today, as possible. How much actually gets devoted to it, of course, will depend on what my family has laid out for me to do, during the day. Please accept my apologies, and I thank you for your great patience!
In other news, my Tuesday interview went very very well! I got high scores on all the tests they gave me, and they seemed impressed. I'm told it will be no trouble to find work for me, with my skill level. This is a relief, as I thought I might have as much trouble looking for work, here, as I had in Los Angeles. Apparently, it's a tremendous help to have big-city skills in a rural area! I'm still hoping to get the government job, as the benefits will be tremendously better than what I could get in a public company, but I've been teased with the idea of working in Dallas, doing some kind of graphics work. That would suit me better than the regular office work, but it's a hell of a drive into Dallas from here. Still, if the money was good, and the work interesting, I'd be willing to make the drive, until I could move closer to the job. Please keep your fingers crossed for me! I really need to do something to make more money. The web stuff just isn't going anywhere, any more. I have all these graphics skills that I just can't use, now. It would be nice to make money with them, again.
