We're Back!! \(^o^)/
Wow...after so many months of struggling with crazy problems, crazy situations and even crazier people, we are officially back! Whee! \(^o^)/ I was worried I wouldn't be able to get this page up, today, because we've had phone problems for the last week, and I was unable to even connect to the Internet, from home. Thank goodness that all worked out.
I'm likely only going to be able to update about once a week, and I'll probably try to make Monday the update day. I know it's going to be difficult, in any case, because this month I'll be doing a lot of non-comics work as well as starting classes, again. December was my moving-and-settling-into-the-new-house month, and January is my back-to-business-with-a-vengeance month. So please forgive me if I have to miss an update, here and there. I'll do my best to keep up the weekly schedule, but, as usual, real-life obligations must take precedence over the comics. If I can do more than one page a week, I will. But I don't expect that I will be able to.
In other news, the old message boards have had a complete overhaul, and are now powered by phpBB. A lot of people had told me they preferred the php boards to the cgi ones, like we had before, so I went ahead and transferred everything over to the new format. It was a gargantuan task, and took me several weeks to accomplish, but now, the new forums are up and running, and no posts were lost. We did, however, lose some private messages, some signatures, avatars, and other minor things like that. But I do still have the old files from the Ikonboard, so if anyone had some private messages they want to keep, I can dig them out and send them as text files, via email. Just let me know, and I'll get to that, asap. The new forums' URL is http://www.kyokipress.com/forums/, much simpler than the old one.
I've also combined the ShadowFall and Elf Life official forums (both of which I hosted on this site, separately, and administrated, separately), to make my job as webmaster/admin easier. It might look a bit confusing, at first, but I think it's going to work out a lot better. Those who use both boards no longer have to have separate logins for each one, and can more easily jump from one to the other. I'll get around to adding modifications to the scripts, later on, after I'm sure everything works without problems and I've had a chance to do some major backups.
I've decided to leave the shoutbox on this page, for a while, too. Feel free to use it whenever you like. I'd like to think of it as a mini forum, in case the forums are ever down and anyone just wants to chat about something.
