Well...Only a Month Late! (O.o)
Not a whole lot to talk about, today, other than the usual old stuff. Such as I'm still looking for a permanent job (these temp things are murder!!), and have been battling with severe depression, again. I'm just amazed that I was able to draw this page, at all, considering everything that's going on around me and inside my head!
Something that's gotten me down this month is an anniversary. Four years ago, on 12 May, I lost someone very dear to me. Those of you who have been around for a while may recall past tributes I have done for my good friend, Houlgate Davenport. I haven't done one, this time, but I'm thinking about her, often. I miss her very much, and no amount of tributes could ever express how much I loved her. She would probably be embarrassed, if she knew I had done ANY tributes to her, at all, and I hope she'll forgive me for having made such a fuss over her. Some people just deserve a fuss, though!! I still may try to do a special drawing for her, but whether or not I do an actual tribute drawing this year is not important. What is important is that I keep her always in my heart, and try to share her wonderful memory with others when I can. Just thinking of her makes me very sad, in that she's no longer here to play with me, but also makes me very happy, in that I was lucky enough to know and be loved by such a wonderful, loving person. (^-^)
Oh! For what it's worth, I am now a cartoon character. Yes, you heard right. I'm going to be a regular character in Carson Fire's Garden Gnome strip, which so far, looks to be lots of fun. I get to be one of the gnome's gnemeses!!! Whee! Check it out, if you haven't already!

I believe that was all I had, for today. Oh!! The KP newsletter is also ready!! I can't believe it! hehe Aaaanyway, hope to be back with some more art, very soon...sooner than this last time, at least.
