Name My Song Contest!
For those who have not yet noticed, I'm holding a contest to name a song I have written for the new and soon-to-be-released Angels of the Sword comic. The prize is a credit on the lyrics page, with the song, as well as the winner's choice of a sketch of one of the Angels characters. The major characters are pictured and named in the collage, above. If you'd like to enter the contest, skip down to this post in the blog, below, and add your suggestion in a comment. The lyrics are in that post, and all the suggestions so far are in the comments.You don't need to be registered or anything to comment to the blog, but if you want to be considered for the contest, please give me some way to contact you, if you win! Either put your email address in the email form, or send me your suggestion via email, to kaisatake@gmail.com if you'd rather not have your addy on a website. I'll take suggestions either way.
The contest will end this coming Sunday, 6 October, 2005, and I will announce the winner sometime that following week, no later than Friday, the 11th. Thanks to all who have already entered, and I look forward to seeing everyone's ideas!
In other news, I now have a LiveJournal account. If you have one and would like to add me as a friend, I will add you back! I've been posting in it every day, since I got it. I didn't think I would like having one, but now that I do have one, I can't imagine ever not having one. My journal name is kaichi_satake, of all things. (~-^) Drop by and say hi! I accept anonymous comments, as well, so you don't have to have a journal, yourself, to read or comment in mine.
Last thing for today is about ShadowFall. I'm going to be trying something new for it, this coming week. I've had so much success with drawing the Angels comic at a smaller size, that I'm going to see how ShadowFall would work, drawn at that size. If it comes out well, and I can manage to do it faster than I have been able to in the past, I may go ahead and do several pages and update it as far as I can. No promises in that arena, but it's something I want to try.
